inspire environmental consciousness and awareness, by reaffirming their
commitment to create products that are GREENGUARD Gold Certified and are

space designed to limit a child’s exposure to chemicals and toxins.
Pottery Barn Kids, and its sister brand PBteen, offer a vast assortment

VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) that are commonly known to pollute
indoor air.
“We are committed to creating products that are good for kids and good
for the planet,” said Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen President, Jennifer
Kellor. “Pottery Barn Kids is extremely proud to announce that its
assortment of nursery seating and nursery furniture is already 100
percent GREENGUARD Gold Certified, and Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen are
striving to be 100 percent GREENGUARD Gold Certified in all furniture by
2020.”

in making a positive impact, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen design

have a lower environmental impact than conventional alternatives. This
includes wood sourced from sustainably managed forests, textiles made
from FSC-certified eucalyptus fibers, upcycled fills made from recycled
plastic water bottles, and organic cotton, which reduces water,
pesticide and chemical use. To verify their commitment to creating safe
and sustainable products, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen products are
certified by trusted and industry-leading third-party standards such as
GREENGUARD, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Oeko-Tex® and
others. Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen are tracking to meet
Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s corporate goal to use responsibility sourced
cotton in 100 percent of its cotton products by 2021. Currently, Pottery
