portfolio of brands announced today a new opportunity for female
entrepreneurs interested in selling their products in retail stores.
As part of the Williams Sonoma Local program which allows makers and
artisans to sell to customers inside Williams Sonoma stores, and in
support of the “Press For Progress” theme of this year’s International
Women’s Day, Williams Sonoma has launched a new website that allows
female entrepreneurs to submit their information to be connected with a
local store for the opportunity to sell directly to customers.
Williams Sonoma is currently the exclusive retailer of products made by
women like best-selling authors and Food Network stars Trisha Yearwood
and Giada De Laurentiis, as well as female food blogger Gaby Dalkin, and
the talented sister team of Katherine Kallnis Berman and Sophie Kallnis
La Montagne of Georgetown Cupcake.
