First Ever Collaboration to Simultaneously Launch Across all Three Pottery Barn Brands Will Debut in March 2018
Pottery
Barn, Pottery
Barn Kids and PBteen,
members of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) portfolio of brands,
today announced an exclusive home décor partnership with Lilly Pulitzer,
the renowned label known for creating the fashion genre of American
Resort Wear. Debuting in March 2018, the Lilly Pulitzer collection marks
the first time that Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen will
simultaneously release a coordinating collaboration to create a seamless
look for every room in the home. Inspired by Lilly Pulitzer’s signature
Palm Beach style and hand-painted prints, the home collection will
include vibrant bedding, furniture and décor for bedroom, nursery,
lounge, outdoor and entertaining. In celebration of the home furnishings
collaboration with Pottery Barn brands, Lilly Pulitzer will release a
limited-edition womenswear collection featuring adult and child sizes,
using prints inspired by the collection.
"Lilly Pulitzer started with an entrepreneurial moment at a juice stand
and has evolved into a fashion and lifestyle brand, whose iconic prints
and styles connect generations," said Michelle Kelly, chief executive
officer at Lilly Pulitzer. "Lilly Pulitzer has always been about a
colorful, happy, resort state of mind. Partnering with the Pottery Barn
brands is a wonderful fit—we are excited to give our customers the
chance to bring Lilly's colorful Palm Beach style into their homes."
The Lilly Pulitzer for Pottery Barn brands collaboration will be
available in March of 2018 at Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen
stores, as well as online at each brand’s website. Be the first to know

ABOUT LILLY PULITZER
Lilly Pulitzer speaks to generations of rule-breaking, sun-followers who
celebrate the spontaneous bohemian spirit of Lilly Pulitzer. The
company’s effortless fashions are truly born from an original. It all
happened by accident, when in 1959-ish Lilly (McKim) Pulitzer—a stylish
Palm Beach hostess and socialite whose husband Peter Pulitzer owned
several Florida citrus groves—needed a project of her own. With Peter’s
produce, she opened a juice stand on Via Mizner, just off Worth Avenue
in Palm Beach. Lilly Pulitzer’s business was a hit, but squeezing
oranges, lemons, limes, and pink grapefruit made a mess of her clothes.
Realizing that she needed a juice stand uniform, Lilly asked her
dressmaker to design a dress that would camouflage the stains. The
result? A comfortable sleeveless shift dress made of bright, colorful
printed cotton in pink, green, yellow and orange.
Although her customers liked Lilly’s juice, they loved her shift
dresses. Soon Lilly was selling more shift dresses than juice, so she
decided to stop squeezing and focus on designing and selling her
“Lillys.” Lilly Pulitzer became a fashion sensation and a creator of
authentic American resort wear as we know it. The brand is now more
popular than ever and continues to create authentic printed styles
straight from the in-house print design studio. For more brand history
