, a purpose-driven, furnishings retail brand and member of
the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. portfolio of brands, is scheduled to open its
second UK location in the London suburb of Kingston-Upon-Thames in
Winter 2017. The two-story, 8,000 sq. ft. store sits on the ground floor
of Bentalls Shopping Centre, with external access from the town’s main
pedestrian high street. With a commitment to the community, West Elm
Kingston will bring approximately 25 locally recruited jobs to the area.
The new location will open with the brand’s holiday assortment, along
with a signature mix of Mid-century and modern furniture and
accessories, and Fair Trade Certified and handcrafted products.
Additionally, West Elm Kingston will offer Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s
design consultation program Design
Crew, which pairs customers with experts who can provide design
services.

our Tottenham Court Road store, a strong e-commerce business and a
thriving wholesale partnership with John Lewis. Globally, our customers
want highly functional, accessible and beautifully designed products
that can help them express their personal style at home,” said West Elm
president Alex Bellos. “Kingston has proven to be a key market for us
since opening and we have been impressed by the abundance of creative
talent in the neighborhood, driven by the multiple design and arts-based
courses at Kingston University. Creating the best store experience and
connecting with our surrounding community is rooted in West Elm’s
values. We are excited to connect with local artists, makers and
designers through our West Elm LOCAL program by offering them space to
sell their wares and bringing our regular cadence of workshops, classes,
and engaging events.”

Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.,
Friday - Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00
