Brand’s Home Furnishings Store Opens in Manhattan on September 28, 2017
Williams Sonoma Home, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM)
portfolio of brands, is opening a standalone store in the Chelsea
neighborhood of New York City. The 5,300 square foot store will offer a
full suite of home furnishings and décor offerings perfect for city
living, as well as Williams Sonoma Inc.’s complimentary Design Crew
interior design services that helps customers create one-of-a-kind
spaces.
Expanding on the exceptional quality and craftsmanship that are
hallmarks of its namesake brand, Williams Sonoma Home launched in 2004
to offer customers furniture and décor for every room in the home.
Williams Sonoma Home has been marketed primarily through the online
channel, williamssonomahome.com,
and a monthly direct mail catalog. Within the past eighteen months, more
than forty existing Williams Sonoma stores have added the Williams
Sonoma Home assortment, and in April the brand debuted its first
Williams Sonoma Home standalone store in Calabasas, California.
The New York City store marks the second dedicated Williams Sonoma Home
store in the nation and will feature the most extensive assortment of
rugs, draperies and lighting out of the entire fleet of stores. It will
also include furniture pieces ideal for high end small space living,
such as smaller scale furniture and a sleeper sofa, that are both
functional and chic. The new store will reside next door to the existing
Williams Sonoma kitchen retail space.

In celebration of the opening, the store will hold a series of events to
