West Elm has incorporated pieces of Fort Worth’s history into the design
elements of the new store inspired by the area’s legendary ranching
history. A collage of rugged, leather remnants are woven into a
patchwork pattern to create a unique cash wrap installation that recalls
the worn texture of the saddles, boots and jackets worn by 19th
century ranchers. A pattern of reclaimed Victorian-era tin shingles from
rooftops in Fort Worth’s Throckmorton Street construct a unique,
sculptural back cash wrap.
