Collection now available in select stores, and online at www.potterybarn.com
Pottery
Barn, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) portfolio of
brands, today unveils the brand’s first collection with fashion duo
Emily Current and Meritt Elliott (‘Emily + Meritt’), joining sister
brands PBteen and Pottery Barn Kids in partnership with the Los
Angeles-based designers. The Emily + Meritt collection mixes Pottery
Barn’s classic lines and casual, stylish aesthetic with playful,
Americana charm to create tabletop accessories, decorative accents,
select furniture and bedding.
Rounding out the Pottery Barn brands’ offering of Emily + Meritt pieces
for the home, the collection features over 30 items characterized by
classic ticking stripes, unexpected gold and brass accents, whimsical
touches and washed chambray—paying homage to Emily + Meritt’s
denim-focused flagship apparel brand, The GREAT.
“After years of creating covetable rooms for both kids and teens, it’s
exciting to design something for the living, dining and master bedrooms!
We approach interiors the same way we approach fashion – layering
whimsical, unexpected elements back to rethought classics,” said Emily
Current and Meritt Elliott. “In this collection, we’ve combined washed
black and white with touches of vintage-y gold and textural chambray-
which can feel both graphic and versatile.”
Signature pieces from the collection include the Bergere Chair, Brass
Peace Sign Jewelry Holder, Raleigh Denim Bench and Denim
Boudoir Pillow. Prices will range from $8-$999 USD.
“Emily + Meritt bring such an effortless sense of glamour to our brand,
taking classic patterns and prints—such as antique ticking stripes and
hand-drawn caricatures, creates a stylish expression for the modern
household,” said Monica Bhargava, Executive Vice President of Product
Development and Design, Pottery Barn. “After incredible success with
collections for Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen, we are so excited to
unveil pieces for the entire home.”
Later this year, the Emily + Meritt for Pottery Barn collection will
continue exclusively for the holiday 2017 season, focusing on unique
décor and magical entertaining moments. Product highlights will include
the Gold Top Hat Ice Bucket, Gold Jingle Bells Wine Opener,
and a denim tree skirt and chambray stocking.
