Store at The Village at Corte Madera Features Refreshing New Lifestyles and Locally Sourced Materials
Pottery Barn, a member of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE:WSM) portfolio
of brands, today debuted its newly designed store at The Village at
Corte Madera in Corte Madera, California. Inspired by a modern
farmhouse, the 12,288 square foot store features dramatic high ceilings
with exposed wood beams, a skylight in the center of the store and
11-foot high steel framed doors that open to an outside seating area at
the front of the store.
Designed to showcase a relaxed lifestyle, the new store design blends
rustic and modern elements to create a space that feels comfortable and
timeless, and embodies how Pottery Barn customers live today. Locally
salvaged wood from buildings at the Oakland Army Base add warmth and
character while hand forged iron shelving elements evoke a touch of
industrial-inspired design. As part of Pottery Barn’s commitment to
sustainability, the store features LED lighting to reduce energy
consumption, low VOC paints to reduce toxins and reclaimed wood.
Additionally, an expanded Design Studio offers new tools and resources
to assist customers in visualizing and customizing interior design and
home furnishings projects. In-store and in-home design consultations
with expert Design Specialists are always free and, for a small fee,
in-home installation services - which include room painting, drape
installation, gallery wall hanging and more - are also available.
