We are committed to measuring our emissions across operations, as well as continuing to seek opportunities to reduce our energy use such as through energy efficiency, renewables and other opportunities to reduce emissions. Considering the climate impacts in raw materials sourcing and developing plans to mitigate those impacts. WSI has increasingly promoted responsibly sourced wood and cotton which have measurable environmental benefits over conventional materials.

We are committed to responsible wood and paper sourcing to conserve forests, protect critical ecosystems and respect local communities. We are an active member of the Global Forest & Trade Network, a consortium of companies, communities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) dedicated to working with businesses to further responsible wood harvesting.

We are committed to increasing the use of more sustainably grown and harvested fibers and reducing the use of toxic chemicals in our fiber and textile production. We are a member of textile Exchange, a global, nonprofit organization committed to accelerating sustainable practices in the textile value chain.

We hold our manufacturing suppliers to high social standards in their operations and are committed to integrity and honesty throughout all aspects of our business. We work with suppliers who meet rigorous standards for safe, healthy work conditions, and whose employment practices conform with local law, best industry practices and our company standards. Our Vendor Code of Conduct and accompanying Implementation Standards detail the principles and practices we expect our manufacturing suppliers to uphold. We conduct independent, third-party audits and invest in a robust social compliance program to ensure the high standards in our supply chain are met.

We work with suppliers who meet the highest standards for safe, healthy work conditions, and whose employment practices conform with local law, best industry practices and our company standards. These include a strict prohibition against child labor, prison or forced labor, unsafe working conditions, or unfair wage practices. All of our suppliers are expected to sign and abide by our Vendor Code of Conduct.
